Join us on World Soil Day for a Journey Through the Soil Food Web with Nat Giffney!

Through this insightful workshop you will develop an understanding of the key components of the Soil Food Web - the interconnected network of life that works together to instill soil with its life giving power. These essential micro-organisms each play a vital role in creating the conditions that allow plants to grow and thrive.

Learn how to cultivate these essential creatures by optimising your home compost. By creating the ideal environment for microscopic life and creating a compost rich and full of life you will put these invisible labourers to work in your veggie garden and grow healthy, tasty and ultra nutritious food!

More than just a composting workshop, this session will take you on a deep dive into the roles of soil organisms and you will even get to see them for yourselves under the microscope!

This session is suitable for seasoned composters and complete beginners, come away with answers for your composting issues! The workshop content is aimed at adults, children are welcome to attend with supervision.
