Many people say that they can’t grow veggies through the heat and wet of our summer. Usually, this is because they try to keep growing the traditional varieties that only grow well in the cooler, drier part of the year.
However, there are many delicious food plants that are well adapted to the warmer and wetter part of the year in SEQ.
This workshop will help you select them and provide tips on propagating, planting, caring for, and harvesting them. It will also provide you with a recipe sheet for preparing and cooking some of the less usual veggies.
