In celebration of National Recycling Week (7-13 November) Recycle Right is hosting a free Webinar focusing on community gardening and enriching our soils with compost, building friendships and great outdoors!
Community Gardener George Finch from APACE Nursery and Farm & Volunteer Manager Amy Warne from North Fremantle Social Farm will share information about community gardens, what’s involved and how can you can join one. You’ll learn about the importance of native plants, water wise gardens and how to supplement our WA soil using compost and mulch. Business Development Manager David Farthing from Purearth will then tell us how our home FOGO (Food Organics, Garden Organics) waste is made into nutrient-rich compost. These FOGO-derived products are now available to purchase for those seeking to enrich our WA soil so our plants and produce grow better!
This webinar event is open to all residents WA. Registration is FREE and a reminder will be sent out the day before the event with the Zoom link attached for all those who register.
