Join farmers Charlotte, Eve, Kirst and Pat to learn about urban farming on the go at Farmraiser Urban Farm in the north-east of Narrm/Melbourne.
We'll start the day with a tour, acknowledgment of country and a bit of background on Farmraiser and then get right into planting, weeding, fencing, worm farming and other fun farm tasks. We'll break for a delicious lunch using some of our produce at around 12:30.
Fingers crossed for lovely weather, but we'll be farming, rain or shine!
We will have a variety of tasks for a variety of different abilities. If you are not able to do physical work we would still love to have you on the farm and will happily find something within your interest and abilities to do!

The working bee will be from 10am-3pm on Sunday 19th November at the farm (15 Perkins Ave, Bellfield).
We'll provide a yummy lunch (we're planning for tasty Banh Mi). Feel free to bring something to share if you're in the mood.
Parking will be available at the Waratah Special Developmental School. You can walk down the bike path from the school to the farm.
