Take a free tour of the productive Whites Creek Food Forest in Lilyfield.
Gillian Leahy, Volunteer Coordinator of Whites Creek Food Forest, will take you on a tour of the food forest describing the many varieties of plants and the methods used to grow and look after them. Participants will see the elements that make up a Food Forest and can take part in a guild planting. You’ll learn the ethics and some key principles of permaculture, and see how they’ve contributed to creating a communal food forest.
