Food Is Free Inc. Monthly Markets are held at Food Is Free Inc. Green Space on the first Sunday of every month. This is a great way to support our work in food security and food growing education.
You'll find a host of friendly volunteers selling seedlings grown onsite, seeds, gardening grow charts, Food Is Free Inc. merch (t-shirts, tote bags, sticker, tea towels etc), compost, worm juice and so much more!
Cash/card purchases available.
The Green Space is a magical space with a very welcoming vibe, and whilst you pop into the markets you can take a walk around the garden beds to see what is in season.
If you have a gardening question, our lovely volunteers love to chat all about growing food and flowers.
Enter via the swing gates on the cnr of Ripon & Urquhart Sts, Ballarat Central. The Food Is Free Inc. Green Space is open 24/7 - we never close, because food security is a 24 hour issue. All welcome.
