In this practical, hands-on workshop you will learn how lay out and install drip line irrigation systems which save water and irrigate the garden more efficiently. Topics include how drip irrigation works, what all the irrigation bits and pieces on sale are and what they do, the different ways to lay out irrigation systems, how to connect the pieces together to construct a working watwring sytem, as well as how to use and repair these irrigation systems.
This workshop will be run by Angelo Eliades from Deep Green Permaculture, who is presenter, trainer and writer in the areas of sustainable gardening and permaculture. He has worked as a horticulturist in the garden nursery industry over the last ten years, writes for Good Organic Gardening Australia magazine, has a demonstration food forest garden in Melbourne’s inner suburbs, and runs the educational website https://deepgreenpermaculture.com
