Down’s Community Farm (DCF) invites you to join us in our weekly Saturday morning working bees to celebrate Urban Agriculture Month during November!

Come and enjoy some social time in the garden with a group of locals who are passionate about growing seasonal and sustainable foods. No gardening knowledge is required and tools are provided!

All are welcome to come for as long as they like and contribute in any way they like - join early or later in the morning or simply pop in to see what it's all about and stay for a cuppa and a chat!

Children are very welcome and anyone who works in the garden is welcome to join in the harvesting and take home some fresh produce to enjoy.

What to expect: We meet at 10am in the community garden to have a walk around and plan our activities for the day depending on what needs to be done. Most weeks this will include some weeding, planting and harvesting. We encourage people’s ideas about what they would like to do in the garden and work together to achieve shared goals.

Please wear suitable clothes and shoes for working in the garden, drinking water, hat, and your curiosity.
