Thinking Green is a series of free community sustainable living workshops presented by the City of Swan.

Learn how to use a worm farm to transform household food scraps into useful products for your garden.

Please note that this is a program for adults and young people aged 14+.

Kevin Smith from The Worm Shed presents on all aspects of worm farming and the role worms play in recycling and waste management. This is followed by a demonstration of setting up and maintaining a worm farm.

Residents and ratepayers of the City are entitled to a $115 subsidy on an advanced worm farm set-up and/or a $50 subsidy on 1kg of worms, both of which will be available for purchase on the day. More details on the worm farm subsidy available here.

In accordance with hygiene requirements, social distancing will be maintained throughout this program and hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use.
