A Walking tour from NCIE to Poets Corner, Redfern.
Led by Brenden Moore, First Nations Community Greening Education Officer, you will visit the informal supported Mens and Womens Garden, the Poets Corner Community Garden and the Solander Community Garden.
These sites are all surrounded by high rise public housing soon to be redeveloped - one of the biggest renewals in Australia. We will also attend a seed saving and sowing workshop so bring along some seeds to share and grow with other community gardeners.
Lunch provided. Please wear suitable footwear for the walk.
